The Library at the Center of The World is a title of the book by J.C. Davis, it tells a story about Jess’s weird dreams that lead her to the cavern which inside has so many candles. The candles portray the condition of the books in real life are about. The candles would put out as no one in the world reads the books. What a sorrow to know the situation inside the cavern. Although the condition is not good, there is a way to help the candle get through it is by storytelling activities.
The quotation I love most about this book is “Libraries are wonderful places, but just because a book exists, just because it is there, doesn’t mean it’ll be read”.
